Thermo Scientific™ National 11mm Autosampler Vial inserts are made of clear glass or polypropylene and available in a variety of configurations for use with HPLC or GC autosampler vials. Usable volumes range from 250μL to 450μL. Where levels of inorganic ions have to be kept to an absolute minimum the use of plastics may be preferred to the more conventional glass. SureSTART™ Glass Inserts for 2 mL Vials, Level 3 High Performance Applications
Use Thermo Scientific™ SureSTART™ Performance Level 3 Inserts with 2 mL vials when analyzing <2 mL samples to maximize the injection volume. These glass inserts have a small total volume capacity of <400 μL, with a minimum residual volume of 2 µL. When placed and sealed inside a 2 mL vial, microsamples can be used in conventional autosampler trays. Choose from polyspring conical, pulled point conical, or flat bottom insert formats. Conical inserts are most effective with residual volumes of 2-4 μL. SureSTART™ Polyspring Inserts for 2 mL Vials, Level 1 Everyday Analysis
Use Thermo Scientific™ SureSTART™ Level 1 Polyspring Plastic Inserts with 2 mL screw, crimp, or snap vials to maximize injection volume when analyzing <2 mL samples. The integral polyspring at the bottom of the insert centers the insert in the vial, ensures a good seal with the vials’ cap, and provides a cushion against needle contact.
