LABTRAX 4-CHANNEL DATA ACQUISITION
The Lab-Trax-4 (standard) device offers 16-bit resolution over the ±10V input range and exhibit less than a millivolt of noise. Data communication as well as power is managed over the USB port, making it easy to use a laptop or a low-profile desktop computer that may not be equipped with expansion slots or serial ports. Data is delivered to the recorder by way of very standard front-panel-mounted BNC connectors. The available Lab-Trax hardware together with WPI’s range of signal conditioners and the LabScribe software make it the perfect choice for research systems addressing cardiovascular studies, blood pressure, cardiac electrophysiology, hemodynamic studies of the pulmonary and coronary systems, and studies of isolated tissues in organ or tissue baths. Equipment from WPI can also be used to tailor systems for epithelial studies, and many applications in neurophysiology.

Single Channel Pulse Generator
The A310 pulse generator/stimulator combines the reproducibility and accuracy of digital electronics with the fine resolution and continuous adjustment possible with analog circuitry. All timing parameters are entered with high resolution, ten-turn potentiometers and six-position range switches. Timing is accurate to within 1% of the set value.

Dummy Load Resistor Kit
A365 can be used as a precise voltage source by placing a precision “dummy” resistor load across the output terminals. Precision resistors (such as the 100 Ω, 1000 Ω and 10,000 Ω resistors in WPI’s optional Dummy Load Resistor Kit #DRL) when placed across the output terminals convert the precision current levels to accurate voltage levels.
For example, 1 milliampere flowing through 1000 Ohms will produce 1 volt across the output terminal pair. Thus, models A365D and A365R can be used as low noise sources of accurate voltage pulses or DC. To maintain less than 1% error, avoid shunting the output dummy resistor with a load resistance less than 100 times the dummy resistance value.

Classic Small Animal Anesthesia System
Complete small animal anesthesia system and all the accessories
EZ Anesthesia is the system of choice for anesthetizing small animals, and it comes with a variety of choices. Animals to be anesthetized are placed in the acrylic induction chamber, and the system delivers a precisely blended mixture of oxygen and isoflurane. An activated charcoal air filter canister at the top of the chamber releases safe, filtered air back into the room. A water-heated cage warmer or warming plate (ATC2000) is used to retain the animal body temperature while in the induction chamber. After the initial anesthetizing, the animal may be moved to the heated surgical water bed and positioned properly in the snugly fitted nose cone. A highly sensitive valve regulated by the animal’s breathing works with the nose cone to ensure non-rebreathing efficiency. It allows safe anesthesia for up to several hours. The breathing device also includes an air filter that releases safe, filtered air back into the room.
